Calabash Villa is one of a kind, perched on a hillside with panoramic views over the sea, embracing the island's natural beauty. The villa can be rented entirely or rented at two separate two-bedroom apartments, Calabash Ocean View and Calabash Garden , the perfect layout for two families or groups travelling together.

Location

The villa overlooks one of the most remote and unspoiled beaches on Bequia, Hope Beach. With its breathtaking views, Calabash Villa is only a 2 min drive to the heart of Bequia at Port Elizabeth. The walk to the harbour (Port Elizabeth) is 20 mins, and the walk to Hope beach is 20 mins. Upper Camel (Union Vale/Hope Estate) is the best-kept secret in Bequia. Located in the centre of the island, just over the central mountain towards the Atlantic Coast, Upper Camel is minutes from the best bars/restaurants the island has to offer and, at the same time, feels as if you have the entire island to yourself. Upper Camel is home to less than ten properties in a family-oriented area.

Indoors

Calabash has a modern contemporary design, complete with two fully equipped kitchens, spacious indoor-outdoor living spaces and four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The villa has two floors, the upstairs with a large living area, deck and pool, and two well-sized en-suite bedrooms. The separate downstairs garden flat has a living room, kitchen, and two queen bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.

Sleeping

The top floor has a primary suite with a king-sized bed and en-suite bathroom; the second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom. The lower level has two bedrooms with queen-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms.

Outdoors

The property sits on a 1/2 acre plot surrounded by lush tropical greenery. A private pool and furnished decking with incredible views ensure you will chill in absolute luxury. Secured Parking is available for three vehicles, with two additional street parking spots.

Getting Around

Guests of Calabash can rent the villa's own 1987 Defender 90 Land Rover at an additional cost. There are numerous taxi services on the island as well. The beach and the harbour are both 20 mins' walk in opposite directions.
